TxCell is a French biotech company founded in 2001 and based in the south of France. TxCell has now 30 employees. TxCell is developing investigational products in a new class of autologous cellular immunotherapies based on type 1 T regulatory lymphocytes (Tr1).

TxCell uses one technology to treat several autoimmune and chronic diseases: the most advanced product is in Phase I/IIa (clinical trial) for Crohn’s disease.

The primary thrust of the near-term business strategy revolves around the clinical development of product candidates in two indications: Gastroenterology and Rheumatology.

TxCell owns a strong Intellectual Property Portfolio : 14 patent families, 17 patents issued, more than 60 patent applications.
