 OvaSave®

Currently, OvaSave® is being evaluated (Clinical Trial) to treat Crohn's disease patients which resist to conventional treatments.
OvaSave®
treatment is an infusion bag containing autologous anti-ovalbumin Tr1 cells which  have been  produced thanks to TxCell's manufacturing process. The expanded population of autologous Tr1 cell clones will be injected intravenously in the patient.
OvaSave® will have to be administered to patients in a period of active inflammation.

 Product
OvaSave®: Autologous anti-ovalbumin
type 1 T regulatory  lymphocytes

Concept

OvaSave® is an investigational product in a new class  of  autologous cellular immunotherapy that is  uniquely  designed  to regulate the patient's own immune  system.
OvaSave® holds promise because it may provide  patients  meaningful clinical benefits with low  toxicity.

Indications

Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD):
Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis

Clinical Phase
Phase I/IIa in Crohn's Disease

Market

TxCell's main aim is to enable the feasibility of its  Crohn's  treatment to benefit to all moderate to severe patients.

At present, OvaSave® is the only new product in  clinical  development specifically addressing the issue  of  autologous  cell therapy, which allows the treatment of all  patients  relapsing  conventional treatments.  (Approximately 64%  of  Crohn's  disease patients are  moderate to severe).

Overall prevalence of IBD in the seven major markets  is  estimated to be nearly 1.8 million (700 000 for  Crohn's  disease  and 1.1 million for Ulcerative Colitis).
