TxCell adheres to strict AFSSAPS regulations and to the Good Manufacturing Practice for the production and formulation of our Tr1 cell treatments to ensure that our products are of the highest quality and safety.
The first products have been manufactured in EFS Besançon premises and now TxCell has its own GMP manufacturing facility in Sophia Antipolis. These two sites allowed to increase the production capacity of TxCell.

TxCell's innovative manufacturing process is divided into seven steps:

1. Collecting a whole blood patient's sample.
2. Stimulating lymphocytes with a chosen antigen.
3. Cloning by limit dilution lymphocytes.
4. Identification of antigen-specific Tr1 cells.
5. Collecting and expanding T antigen-specific Tr1 cells.
6. Purifing the drug substance and freezing it.
7. Injecting to the patient the drug substance.
